The Lost Youth
ISTD Project: Lost
The project brief called for the designer to create a typographic work of our choice. This project revolves around creating an ISTD project based on topics that were provided to us. and the concept for this project was about the lost youth in South Africa ,and how none of us are sure what we are doing or the kind of future that awaits us.
Description: The typographic work that I chose to do is a newspaper, containing articles about the ways in which the youth are lost, along with some of the causes for the challenges they face. Images were edited to help enhance the feeling that research was included when writing them. Images were edited to help enhance the feeling that the articles are meant to convey to the audience. All photos within this project are original and the quotes are personal and from the youth affected by these issues. Some of the names have been changed for the purpose that some of them preferred to remain anonymous. All articles are also original, although research was included when writing them.
